Perplexcity Competition

My ears hurt. A very cheap mind-candy-designs-with-voiceover job, plus some morse code that's too piercing.
This video seems to have the highest number of views so far. The producer has put his funds into marketing rather than quality of film, and that seems to be paying off at the moment.

The creator of this video seems to have spurts of activity. The positive commnents from those in the "internet cafe" are scripted and likely to be written by himself. I believe that this producer has done NO marketing, and is purely opening several windows and having them on automatic refresh every 5 seconds.
Agreed. It's interesting that they rocketed from nothing to 6000+ views in the space of a few short hours, then spent from approx 9am Saturday until 11pm at the 6,300 mark - then suddenly (as if, maybe, someone had come home and...started hitting refresh a lot) soared, putting on over 1,000 hits in under an hour. Absolute rubbish - the staged comments from passers-by reads like the script to one of those "Personal-Injury Claims-Direct-Ambulance-Chasers R'Us adverts". Utter tosh, if Mind Candy give this *anything* it makes a mockery of the whole competition. Everyone signed up knowing full well that it was to be determined on views, and thats fine - but this is just pathetic.
This is Tiggz, lol Thanks for your comments. I am pleased to say that i am not refreshing anything, and i did meet the people in the internet cafe. I have pictures if u really must see my efforts, to prove i did market my video. Shame it has to come to proving anything. Everyones in the competition to win it thats the point.
I think it's fairly poor that the pirates video was criticised for cheating when clearly there was no sudden surge in hits like this video (in fact most of their hits happened whilst they were asleep).
I'm not saying that Tiggz is cheating, but it seems sad that such a fun and exciting competition has turned in to a game of refreshing. Mind Candy clearly aren't interested in refreshes, and whilst they aren't likely to disqualify for it as theres no way of telling they will frown upon it. The idea of the competition is to promote perplexcity, which refreshing the page doesn't do...
If anybody wants to cheat that's fair enough..they can relish theur archive of cards-we clearly couldnt split them 10 ways, so they might aswell go to a good home.
Can I just point out there is no way you will get 100 people, let alone 1000 people to click on a site in an internet cafe.
"internet cafe" is a premotion method sure, but you cant explain astranomical raise's in views on it.
(unless, purhapes, you paid the owner of the cafe to set your page as the default for 2 weeks)
