A hitchhikers guide to perplex city
http://youtube.com/watch?v=EbX3jHkd_0E
Looks like the cgi was done on a ZX Spectrum and has a voiceover by Jonathan Ross on acid. But it contains the neat idea of an internal puzzle, this time a hidden URL. It isn't http://www.darkflame.co.uk/trademanstwit - I tried that.

Cheers for the review :)
I love the discription of the voice I put on.
ZX Spectrum? :D :D
Actualy, Probably would have rendered faster if it was done on a spectrum. ;)
Was made using 3DSMax7 on my feable 1.3ghz machine. The simplistic style is mimicking Hitchhikers guide enteries.
Hint: The way you got the URL was on the right track. However, look at the end of the timecodes when I was typeing....that isnt a glitch ;)
OK, I got it. http://www.darkflame.co.uk/trademanswitt
Next up... twdarkflamedeviant/rtwcom ... doens't work. How annoying. That took me ages. I'll give it another go later.
Got it. http://www.deviantart.com/view/33727507/
Very nice. I found the cube!
But is there another message in the numbers in the top left corner?
Yup! :)
Thats the last thing to crack!..kinda :p
Sorry for the late reply.
A small hint is to look at the numbers...what numbers arnt there?
It will give you a clue as to the code.
Of course. Octal ASCII. Well, I should have just tried it without waiting for confirmation that there was a message in the numbers.
Nice puzzle. Doesn't the cube in the sand at the end make you think of Wallace and Gromit going to the moon and finding it's made of cheese? No? Just me, then.
:D
Actualy I see what you mean.
Congradulations.
I think your the 3rd person to do it, btw.
Its hard to tell pricessly, as I am going by my website hits.
(while being carefull not to viste the page myself)
Reminds me, I meant to render up a bigger picture for the ending.
Takes awhile to render because of the "Lost" style depth of field on the message.
It's down!
